FLINT FARMERS’ MARKET STAYS
Flint, MI – Effective Wednesday, March 25, 2020, the Flint Farmers’ Market will be open on Saturdays ONLY from 8 AM to 2 PM through April 13, 2020. This change in schedule will allow vendors to be able to provide essential grocery items to the public in a timely and safe manner while respecting the guidelines set forth by the State of Michigan. Several restaurants located within the market will also offer take out service on those Saturdays.
Additionally, there are plans to develop further curbside service and food bundles on other days in the coming weeks. More information to follow as those plans are confirmed. The market has taken additional steps to provide hand sanitation stations through the market. The seating and dining area has also been removed to comply with the current rules for public spaces. “The health and safety of our vendors and our customers is our number one concern.” said market manager, Karianne Martus.
