Corona Virus Pandemic (Covid 19)
We want to address any concerns that you may have over the Corona Virus Pandemic (Covid 19) and how it may affect your experience at the
Flint Farmers’ Market.
All food businesses in our market with a Genesee County Health Department or Department of Agriculture license are ALWAYS required to follow the guidelines for safety and cleanliness that the public is now being asked to observe. In other words, all the things that people are being told to do to avoid getting sick and avoid potentially spreading the virus are steps that our vendors follow every day.
We want you to know that we are also prepared to assist the public in keeping safe as well from the Covid-19 Virus.
- New Purell foam stations and Clorox wipe dispensers are now in main
floor bathrooms. - Clorox wipe stations have been installed throughout the market.
- There is a free-standing foam Purell station in the atrium along with a very large Purell Wipe dispenser located on the wall.
- Three additional free-standing Purell foam stations are at each entrance for
customer use. - Every vendor has hand sanitizer available near their register for customers
to use.
Our market staff and vendors have always been committed to maintaining a safe and sanitary environment for people to come together, shop and enjoy great food. In the face of this latest challenge we are even more resolved to providing a safe space for our customers as well.
